1. What is Rent Your Wardrobe (RYW)?
Rent Your Wardrobe is a Dubai-based fashion rental and resale platform where you can rent designer dresses, tuxedos, sherwanis, and Indian Lehenga & Western Bridalwear for special occasions, or buy and sell preloved outfits. Our mission is to make sustainable fashion in the UAE accessible, affordable, and stylish, and contribute to controlling fashion waste.

2. How does the rental process work?
Browse our collection online at www.ryw.ae, choose your outfit, book an appointment to try it on at our inventory place, visit, check the fittings, and collect it instantly. After your event, simply return it hassle-free.

3. Do you only offer rentals or also resale?
We offer both:

  • One-time rentals for all occasions.

  • Preloved fashion resale, where you can buy or sell authentic, quality fashion items.

4. How long can I rent an outfit?
Rental durations vary from 3 days to 7 days, depending on the outfit type and your booking needs.

5. Can I try outfits before renting?
Yes, outfit try-ons are available by prior appointment at our inventory place, the Dubai location. Simply contact us via WhatsApp:

6. Do you offer plus sizes and modest wear?
Yes, our curated collection includes plus-size dresses, modest styles, prom dresses, Indian lehengas, and tuxedos for men – ensuring inclusivity for every body type and style preference.

7. What happens if the outfit gets damaged?
Minor wear is expected. However, significant damage or stains may result in additional charges or deductions from the security deposit as per our rental policy.

Resale Services

8. Can I rent out my wardrobe collection on the RYW platform?
Absolutely! If you have high-quality Indian or Western outfits you’d like to monetize, send us pictures via WhatsApp. Our team will evaluate and guide you on how to list your wardrobe collection for rent or resale.

9. Will I get store credit or cash as a rental/resale share?
You will receive your rental or resale share directly in your local UAE bank account once the transaction is completed. We do not issue store credits — instead, we ensure a secure and direct payment process, making it simple and transparent for our fashion providers.

10. Do you buy clothes from people?
We do not buy or pay upfront for fashion items. Instead, we help you rent out or resell your wardrobe collection on our platform, taking care of all the hassle of marketing, customer reach, and maintenance care.

 

Delivery & Returns

11. Do you offer free delivery & return pickup?
No, delivery & return pickup charges apply. We provide reliable delivery & return pickup across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and other UAE cities at competitive rates.

12. How do I return my rented outfit?
You can arrange a drop off, or we can schedule the return pickup for you. Just ensure the outfit is placed securely in the provided garment bag with the label attached.

13. What if the outfit doesn’t fit after renting?
We do not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges on rentals. Please make sure to book a try-on appointment in advance to confirm size and fitting before finalizing your rental.

14. What if I am late in returning the outfits?
If you return your rented outfit late, you can expect a security deposit deduction based on the extra days of rental as per our policy.

Payments & Refunds

15. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and secure online payments.

16. Is there a deposit required?
Yes, we charge a refundable security deposit on each rental item. The refund for the security deposit will be processed within 24 hours of outfit receival after inspection.

17. Do you offer refunds if I cancel?
Refunds depend on the timing of your cancellation. Please check our cancellation policy for details.

18. How does RYW ensure outfit quality and hygiene?
All our outfits undergo professional cleaning, steaming, and quality checks before each rental.

19. Why should I rent instead of buying fast fashion?
